Happy or not, Ray LaMontagne writes such beautiful and honest songs. Damn. If you haven't heard his albums already, please do yourself a favor and seek them out. Each song feels so carefully crafted and emotionally poignant that it's a lot like listening to an old Jim Croce song or the like. Ray LaMontagne is without question, one of the most talented songwriters of his time.
