Ghostpoet
Artist: Ghostpoet
Song: "Survive it"
My first introduction to Ghostpoet was through Giles Peterson. If you haven't already heard of Giles, you'll want to give his website a once over. In addition to owning the very same record label that Ghostpoet calls home, Giles puts on a great show on the BBC called "Searching for the perfect beat." Vaguely: it's full of gems.
Anyhow, the thing that strikes me so much with Ghostpoet beyond his super chilled out sound is the fact that this cat has a completely different perspective on the world as a result of his age. You can see it in his words, you can hear it in his voice. This song/video is a prime example. His concerns aren't the same you're likely to hear pouring from the mouth of a babe many years younger than him. He's a refreshing voice, with a different sound. Anglophiles get on deck, Ghostpoet's only got room to grow.

Talk Talk Talk Talk
Artist: Body Language
Song: "Social Studies"
Kind of poppy... Actually, A LOT poppy, and pretty girly too. Still, I like the sound of this. It reminds me of a lot of things:
+ "The Young Machines" by Her Space Holiday
+ Pretty girls with pretty voices
+ Super sunny Sundays
+ Driving

+ Platform video games
+ Making good, bad choices
+ "Dream running"
...and a few other things too. For whatever reason, I just can't shake this tune from my head. Guess I'll just have to play it ad nauseum.
